My name is Miriam and I have taught English as a Foreign Language for over 10 years, having completed my CELTA training in 2007.
I love teaching.
I am fascinated by languages (I speak French and have studied Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Thai) and I love to help people develop both their skills and their confidence. It is a real pleasure to see my students grow and develop.
I’ve worked for a number of well-known companies, teaching students working for Airbus, Carrefour, and Lidl, for example. I have also taught one-to-one private classes for many years.
I am from Oxford and I live in Bristol in the south-west of the U.K.
I have a bachelors degree from the University of Sheffield and a masters degree from the University of Bristol.
I am member of the International Phonetic Association.
